The Overtones bring a classy blend of Jazz, Swing and Rock and Roll to any event. An established favourite at the Marlborough Jazz Festival and at venues throughout the South-West, they guarantee to get people dancing.

The band features the talents of Geoff Stear (bass), Anthony Sycamore (piano), John Bartle (brass), Rick Ware (drums) and Mark Richardson on vocals.

Geoff has played in the orchestra pit at big West End musicals and supported musicians such as Bananarama and Bonnie Tyler. Anthony, the master pianist, provides a scintillating edge with his rich improvisation and power on the keys. John plays trumpet, trombone and the harmonica, and his lyrical style provides a smooth accompaniment to Mark’s fabulous Sinatra-esque baritone. Rick drives the beat in his own inimitable style and the panache that the band’s fans have come to expect.
